Max is an award-winning pit master that has competed at events such as the Columbus Jazz and Rib Fest, Canal Winchester Ribs Festival and Food Truck Festival. He has been featured in 614 magazine and on Fox28 news for his St. Louis Style Ribs and 12-hour smoked hickory wood brisket. He has a successful non-kosher food truck business, PapayaBBQ, and will be opening a (non-kosher) restaurant, Smoked on High BBQ, in the fall.
